Apartment No. 7 is a fourth-floor penthouse of total internal area of 137 metres squared, and a total external area of 50 metres squared. It has a spacious bedroom with an ensuite and a separate guest bedroom and bathroom. The space has a large open kitchen/living/dining space which overlooks a spacious terrace with integrated planters along the façade. Together with these elements, this apartment will be given an extremely high quality of finishes and detailing. This project’s central aim was to provide high quality apartments in an urban centre, high quality especially in terms of design and materials. The façade incorporates a curved concrete balcony with an integrated planter which acts as a buffer between private external spaces and the street. It also makes use of a reed screen (?asira tal-qasab) which would give added privacy and shading in the summer months. Each apartments has a large terrace which connects to the central living space. The visuals show the quality of each balcony; especially in its curved design, integrated planter which encloses the terrace as well as the screen which would provide further privacy and shading. This space also has an outdoor kitchen and a sofa which give an added component of leisure. The inside-outside feeling is also an element in this space. When the doors to the terrace are fully open, residents have a bench to create a connection to the outside and for added seating and interaction.
