Perry Estate Agents Malta report a record year for 2017

We are delighted to announce strong results for the financial year ending May 2017, as turnover at Perry Estate Agents in Malta continued its upward trend. Sales revenue achieved a further 10% increase over the previous record-breaking year when we reported a staggering 50% increase in sales revenue.

Commenting on the results Robert Spiteri Paris, our company director and head of the letting department said “overall we delivered another record performance in 2017, fueled by the high demand for up-market and quality properties, especially by foreign clients who are purchasing real estate in Malta to live in, as holiday homes and as secure long-term buy-to-let investments.” The record revenues were mainly boosted by a frenzy of activity in the high-end housing market, whilst another contributing factor was the increase in sales and rentals in the commercial sector as businesses, mainly in the financial services and gaming industries, continue to expand their existing premises.

We also witnessed strong demand with new businesses who are consistently choosing to make Malta their base, due to the very favorable economic climate as well as the various lifestyle advantages of living on the island. Robert Spiteri Paris added: “We expect continuing demand for property especially in sought after locations such as Sliema, St.Julians and the surrounding areas, although the availability of stock in the short-term is increasingly becoming a challenge. We have started 2018 well and our expectations for the year ahead remain unchanged.”

This year will also see the emergence of many new and exciting high-end residential and mixed-use developments which should help to satisfy the ever-increasing demand in Malta.
